There are three comparison of adjective

1. Positive degree
2. Comparative degree
3. Superlative degree

An adjective in simple form which shows some quality of a noun is called positive degree.

i.e poor, brave, happy etc.

An adjective used to show comparison between two persons or things is called comparative degree.

i.e poorer, braver, happier etc.

An adjective used to show comparison among more than two persons or things is called superlative degree.

e.g poorest, bravest, happiest etc.
